This is the largest coral reef in the world. It is located in the Coral Sea off the coast of Australia. It stretches for more than 2,300 kilometers and is made up of thousands of individual reefs and hundreds of islands. The reef is home to marine life, including colorful fish, sea turtles, sharks and many types of coral. Because of it's natural beauty and rich biodiversity, it is considered one of the most important natural wonders of the world and is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. However, the reef is facing threats from climate change and pollution.
